In regard to the "Collection", the pictures accurately display what I may or may not have. I am continually adding new crowns to the collection. I am still acquiring images of the caps I have. Additionally I am going trough the process of removing duplicates in the US portion of the collection. Most of these duplicates will be in the form of having the cap both used and un-used... the crown in the best condition will be kept and the other crown will be moved to the trade stock. This is a perfect opportunity for other collectors to acquire my best material.
I have been collecting crowns since 1979 and I have obtained some great material through personal "finds", great trades and the annual US trade show "Crownvention". My collecting comes in waves of activity and I've missed many great caps in periods of my dormancy. Still, I am proud of what I've acquired and I am pleased to be able to share it with collectors around the world.
Lastly, like the majority of the pictures on this site the collection images are not of individual crowncaps, they are larger groups of caps. This is specifically due to the amount of crowns I have and the extensive time involved in acquiring and editing individual images. Additionally seasoned collectors will quickly see that there are crowns which could or should have been grouped with one another but are not. I am continually trying to rectify this but if you see caps out of place please let me know, it may be as simple as I did not know a cap is associated with a specific brewer. As for the foreign caps my knowledge base is limited and I am unsure of where certain caps originate so there will appear that there is no real order in the collection. Either way, the group pictures are the fastest and easiest way for me to post my collection and trade stock for the world to enjoy, which I hope you do.
